Time to Live. Man Talk. Episode 2

”Under no circumstances should you dwell on the past,” advises Ibragim Ibragimov, a professional dancer and founder of a prosthetics and orthotics company. Having undergone amputation himself, he now helps veterans of the Ukraine conflict return to their lives.

Anton Filimonov, callsign ‘Rumble’, a legendary Marine corps unit commander who lost his leg in a battle near Ugledar, emphasizes the importance of ensuring that people with similar experiences are never abandoned.

Vadim Goncharov, a veteran who lost his arm while destroying a neo-Nazi kamikaze drone near the Kakhovskaya hydropower plant, proudly asserts, “The enemy will never see the back of a Russian officer.”

These extraordinary men discuss how modern Russian medicine assists soldiers with severe injuries and amputations from the Ukraine conflict in returning to active life. They share their personal experiences, revealing how they accepted that their lives would be different from now on and how they battled pain and cravings for strong medications. With the love and support of their friends and families, along with help from comrades and specialists, they can look forward to a bright, peaceful future.
